Our Company has one exciting mission: To entertain the human race.PRIMARY PURPOSE: As an Assistant Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Pastry Chef and Bakers. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

• Ensure requisitions are processed properly and placed in designated area
• Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service
• Label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation
• Maintain production knowledge and attention to detail with decoration and taste quality
• Assist Pastry Chef, other Assistant Pastry Chefs, bakers, and helpers as needed in execution of production
• Conduct training for bakers and helpers on job responsibilities
• Communicate with management and service staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and employees
• Assist Executive Chef and Pastry Chef by controlling food and labor cost, and establish goals and objectives that focus on profit, product and people
• Assist Executive Chef and Pastry Chef by controlling of purchasing, receiving, purveyor lists and inventory of all kitchen itemsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of cake experience
  • Two(2) years of pastry experience
  • One (1) year of leadership experience, back of house
  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
