seeking individuals who are passionate about patients and committed
to acquiring the knowledge and skills required to be a Medical
Assistant. These opportunities are for ALL individuals, even those
with NO prior healthcare experience. Our Medical Assistant
Apprenticeship program is 18 months long which includes a paid,
intensive, ten-week class session. After the classroom portion, the
apprentices will receive paid On-the-Job training to fully support
their transition into the role for the remaining 15 months.
Apprentices are full-time employees with benefits from the first
day of the program and will be eligible to maintain employment
beyond the apprenticeship with the organization. (This program is
not intended for individuals currently certified as a Medical
Assistant with the National Healthcare Association.) THE TRAINING
IS PROVIDED AT NO COST to the participants and will prepare them to
take the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant exam (CCMA) to become
Certified Clinical Medical Assistants. This is a full-time position
starting in October 2025 The Medical Assistant Apprentice (MA) is
responsible for performing patient-oriented procedures under the
direction and supervision of a clinician, RN, or LVN to ensure safe
and appropriate patient care. The MA assists the clinician with
minor medical and surgical procedures; performs a broad spectrum of
clerical and administrative duties related to the delivery of
patient care assistance. Primary Responsibilities: - Consistently
exhibit behavior and communication skills that demonstrate the
company’s commitment to superior customer service, including
quality care and concern with internal and external customers -
Use, protect, and disclose patients’ protected health information
(PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and
Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards - Anticipate the clinician’s
needs and carries out orders - Check for patients' arrival status
and escorts patients from waiting area to exam rooms. Escorts
patients to ancillary services as needed - Obtain, record, and
report vital signs and other pertinent patient information to RN,
LVN, or clinician - Perform various medical procedures and
medication administration as appropriate for their certification -
Perform phlebotomy, process lab specimens, and maintain lab
specimen logs as appropriate - Assist clinician with procedures as
requested - Ensure proper documentation of all procedures -
Maintain and clean exam and treatment areas, specimen processing
areas, and medical equipment - Complete or assist with the
completion of appropriate forms, tracking, transport, etc. Physical
& Mental Requirements: - Ability to transport up to 50 pounds -
Ability to handle heavy objects using up to 100 pounds of force -
Ability to remain in stationary position for extended periods of
time - Ability to operate equipment and/or machinery - Ability to
exchange information verbally and/or in writing - Ability to use
logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving -
Occasionally requires exposure to communicable diseases or bodily

Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED - Currently hold Basic
Life Support Certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
of hire - Ability to work remotely in a secure home office with
sufficient internet capabilities - Access to reliable
transportation that will enable you to travel to the classroom and
assigned clinic - Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without
company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based
work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and
candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered) Pay
is based on several factors including but not limited to local
labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In
addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive

incentives. The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to
$24.23 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all
